SOUL STREET FEST POLICIES

Heart n Soul Markets is committed to creating a festive, respectful, and professional environment for vendors, staff, and guests.

Vendors are expected to:

  • Communicate respectfully with event staff at all times
  • Follow all instructions provided by Heart n Soul Markets staff
  • Treat fellow vendors and attendees with courtesy and professionalism
  • Conduct business in a manner that aligns with the values of the event

Disrespectful behavior, harassment, or unprofessional conduct will not be tolerated.

All official communication regarding events will be sent via email and/or the Heart n Soul Markets website.

Vendors are responsible for:

  • Reading all emails and updates in full
  • Reviewing information posted on the website
  • Following stated deadlines and instructions

Failure to read communications does not exempt vendors from compliance.
“I didn’t see it” or “I didn’t know” will not be accepted as valid reasons for policy violations.

Heart n Soul Markets maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:

  • Disrespectful language or behavior toward staff (including family members and volunteers)
  • Arguing, challenging, or refusing to follow established policies
  • Public or private harassment via email, social media, or in person
  • Attempts to intimidate or pressure staff for exceptions

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate removal from the event (without refund)
  • Disqualification from future Heart n Soul Markets events

Vendors must:

  • Arrive within the designated setup window
  • Be fully set up by the required time
  • Remain set up for the full duration of the event
  • Break down only during the approved breakdown window

Early breakdown or failure to follow setup guidelines disrupts the event experience and may impact approval for future events.

  • Vendor fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • Vendor fees may be transferable to a future Heart n Soul Markets event at the discretion of management
  • No-shows forfeit all fees and future participation privileges

All payment terms are outlined at the time of application or acceptance.

Heart n Soul Markets events may proceed rain or shine unless conditions pose a safety risk.

In the event of cancellation due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances:

  • Vendors will be notified as soon as possible
  • Transfer options will be communicated when applicable
  • Refunds are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated
